In this engaging presentation, Renee Taylor will explore the role of the birth helper in pregnancy. She will also describe some of the extraordinary uses of acupuncture in pregnancy and in post-pregnancy. This presentation is open to all, and there will be a Q. & A. period.

 Renee Taylor is a registrant with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia as well as a member of the Doula Services Association. Having been immersed in the research, practice, and exploration of alternative therapies, Renee found her life’s calling in the study of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She has always had a special interest in women’s health, which blossomed further during her pregnancy and after the birth of her daughter. Renee is deeply fascinated by the incredible power women have in creating and birthing new life. Renee Taylor is a doula with Acummamas.
