Your total shipping cost is calculated by adding the "Per Shipment" cost and the "Per Book/Item" cost. E.g. One book to Penticton BC would be $8.50 + $1.50 = $10, two books would be $11.50.
Banyen normally ships out mail orders by Canada Post on the next business day when items are in stock.
Delivery within Canada:
- Expedited Parcel Service, Insured
- 2-3 business days Local
- 2-5 business days in B.C.
- 5-7 days within Canada + 3 days to outlying areas

Backorders for Out of Stock Items
Items out of stock at the time of your order will be shipped to you as soon as they arrive in the store:
- Regular titles on order may arrive tomorrow, or may take up to several weeks to arrive.
- Special Order Only titles (titles we list on the site but only order by customer request) can take from 1 to 4 weeks or more to receive.
- Future publications will be shipped when they arrive. Note expected month and year of publication on upper right of the product’s detail page.

Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.) is available within Canada only and is an additional $7. You will need to place your C.O.D. order over the phone. 1-800-663-8442.
Returns, Refunds & Defectives
If you are not happy with your order, we will give you a full merchandise refund with the noted exceptions below. Returns must be received by us with a copy of your receipt within 30 days of your receiving the order. If your purchase is defective, please return the defective item with a clear ID of the defect and we'll gladly replace it with a new copy and pay your shipping. Opened Audios, DVDs, CDs, Tarot & Oracle sets and the like can be returned only if they are defective.
Becoming a Member
We suggest you login as a member. That will allow you to
- build a Wish List as big as you want, for as long as you want
- maintain an ongoing Shopping Cart
- post customer reviews for any title (recommendations, criticisms, great quotes),
- read and comment in discussion forums on various themes
- store customer information so checkout each time will be quicker.
You can, however, still purchase from the Banyen webstore without logging in as a member. The checkout process will automatically open a member account for you, however.
Every product we offer is listed with an ADD TO CART button, which when clicked will add that item to your Shopping Cart. You can delete items from your cart at any time before you checkout. You can also bring items from your Wish List into your Shopping Cart, or move items from the Cart to the Wish List.
Once you start the checkout process, you will be guided through:
- deleting or adding items before you finalize your order
- knowing your merchandise total (less discounts, if any)
- knowing your standard shipping cost & expected delivery time
- choosing expedited shipping, if available
- knowing your total purchase
- choosing your payment method (Visa or Mastercard only)
- getting payment approved
- receiving an order confirmation e-mail from us.
- receiving a shipping confirmation e-mail from us when your order has been shipped.
