Dear fellow flowers in the growing garden of life,

How's your blossoming going these days? Is there some fruit starting to form in your being, as midsummer's festivals are upon us? May the garden of your being be well watered from the great energy springs in which our earth dances like a firefly. And being in a poetic mood, I found this lovely verse from Dante, who lived in Italy eight hundred years ago. It offers one view of the great solar "transmission" of summer in the soul.

EMBERS is a Vancouver charity organization focused on community economic development. Their hard work contributing to a "Healthy City For All" was recognized on July 6, 2015 when they were awarded a 2015 City of Vancouver Award of Excellence. Congratulations EMBERS!
