Benjamin Epstein, Ph.D. is an experienced psychologist, author and speaker who blends traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness, spirituality, and acceptance techniques. An ordained Rabbi, with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, as well as a masters in developmental psychology Dr. Benjy works effectively with a broad spectrum of age groups and psychological disorders. He works as Director of Staff Development and Clinical Research in Camp Hasc, where he provides support and assistance to more than 300 mentally and physically handicapped children and adults, as well as for more than 450 staff members. Along with his dissertation, which was on the Effects of a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program for fathers of individuals with disabilities, he has been practicing, teaching, and leading mindfulness groups for over a decade.
