Karin Dina, DC, is a researcher, health writer, educator, clinician, and health enthusiast. Karin has been studying and practicing raw food nutrition since 1990. She studied naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, and has an honors degree in biology. She is the cocreator and instructor of the Science of Raw Food Nutrition classes at the Living Light Culinary Institute with her husband, Rick Dina, DC. Rick Dina, has been studying and practicing raw, plant-based nutrition since 1987. He worked at Hippocrates Health Institute, graduated from Life Chiropractic College, and practiced at True North Health Center, helping patients recover from health challenges using fasting and whole-food, plant-based nutrition. After teaching at Bastyr University, Rick maintained a private chiropractic and nutrition practice with Karin in San Rafael, California.
