Kate Johnson teaches and writes at the intersections of spiritual practice and social action. Kate trained as a meditation teacher at Insight Meditation Society/Spirit Rock Community Dharma Leader Training and The Interdependence Project, where she is currently a teacher. She also teaches meditation to adults at MNDFL and the Rubin Museum, and teaches yoga and meditation in New York City public schools through Bent on Learning. She holds a BFA in Dance from The Ailey School/Fordham University, an MA in Performance Studies from NYU. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
