Doug Sensei and Catherine Pawasarat explore these questions through classic meditation teachings along with contemporary influences such as The Fifth Discipline and Theory U.

Achariya Doug Duncan Sensei, Canadian-born lama and Dharma Teacher, has been leading retreats & teaching universal practices of spiritual unfoldment world-wide for over 30 years.

Duncan Sensei is a lineage holder in the tradition of Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche, with whom he studied since 1974 and received lay ordination from in 1978. He has also received teachings from the Burmese Theravada master Ven. Sayadaw U Thila Wunta, from H.H. the 16th Karmapa, and from a Master of the Western Mystery School. His teachings integrate diverse sources including western psychology, contemporary science, and Sufi and Taoist thought. He is co-founder of Dharma Japan (Kyoto) and Clear Sky Meditation & Study Center (BC).

Catherine Pawasarat has developed awakening for the alleviation of suffering for all beings by training daily with Doug Duncan Sensei since 1997. She helped found Clear Sky after helping establish and develop Dharma Japan. In particular, Catherine focuses on dharma training, a methodology for speedy unfoldment. Through AkasaVision Consulting she pursues her interest in the fertile ground where awakening, sustainability, & social entrepreneurship meet.
