Join Moreka Jolar and Heidi Scheifley, authors of Hollyhock: Garden to Table, the new follow-up to the bestselling classic Hollyhock Cooks, for a free in-store food demo & signing. Tasty treats will be provided for all!

Hollyhock: Garden to Table is a celebration of the beauty of fresh, local food with a focus on sustainable seafood, and garden-fresh foods. It’s filled with ideas and seasoned with global inspiration, & the versatility of whole grains, healthy oils and natural sweeteners is showcased. Moreka Jolar’s career has taken her from Vancouver’s artisan bakeries to busy island retreat centres. She has been a chef at Hollyhock for 15 yrs, where she also teaches cooking workshops. Heidi Scheifley received certification as a Gourmet Natural Foods Chef at California’s Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition & Culinary Arts. Heidi is co-owner/operator of Cook’s Cooperative.
