Yogacharini Maitreyi - Invoke & Empower Your Inner Power/Shakthi

Thursday, October 19, 2017
6:30pm to 8:00pm

Banyen Books & Sound
3608 West 4th Ave.

Interestingly the word Shakthi or Goddess means "power" or "empowerment" in Sanskrit. Become aware of the power dynamics inherent in your life. Learn practical tools in Arkaya yoga to not only invoke but evoke from within empowering qualities embodied by the shakthis like assertiveness, abundance, self love, vibrancy, healthy boundaries, conscious melting of boundaries and discernment. Learn about these blueprints in you that can be activated through specific and rhythmic conscious movement, dynamic stillness, manthra (sacred sound vibration for liberating the mind), bakthi (expansive immersion), sankalpa (intent to align with the highest), kirtan (soul song) and certain shakthi pranayama. Listen to stories of how the Shakthis dealt with conflict, the dance of Shiva and shakthi and how it may apply to your life. Learn about the Shakthi path and Tantra.

This session will help manifest unrealised power and potential for both genders and is not gender specific.

Option for attendees to stay back and receive prasad (blessed food) made of lentils dear to the shakthis is there. So kindly factor in extra time.
