“When you tell the truth, your story changes. When your story changes, your life is transformed.”

When we learn to tell the whole truth about experience and to discern our own soul’s journey, we come to understand the mythic dimension of personal struggles, triumphs, confusions, longings, digressions, and so-called mistakes. Through writing exercises and group dialogue, attendees examine their inner lives as doorways to transpersonal wisdom. Liberated from the myth that our stories are us, and aware that every life narrative is a work of fiction, we’re freed of the unnecessary limits these fictions impose on us. Investigate the mysterious connection between the person you believe yourself to be and the internal witness who sees beyond the conscious mind into the secrets of your heart.

Mark Matousek's work has received high praise from the likes of Roshi Joan Halifax, Mark Nepo, Ram Dass, Ken Wilber, Tara Brach, Dan Siegel, Joan Borysenko, Mark Epstein, Eve Ensler, and Daniel Goleman. He is the author of several award-winning and best-selling books including When You're Falling, Dive and Ethical Wisdom. He is a featured blogger for Psychology Today and the Huffington Post, and has contributed to The New Yorker, O: The Oprah Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Yoga Journal, Tricycle: The Buddhist Review.
