Meditation master Ivan Rados will speak at Banyen on meditation, not as a spiritual discipline separated from everyday life, but as an objectless state of awareness. Meditation is the state of witnessing; being conscious of the mind and its thoughts of desire, dreams, and projections.

"Meditation is all about understanding the mind and its mechanical structure and operation, and through the witnessing and following method-less aproach, detaching oneself from it, and creating a healthy distance from it."

Ivan's methodless approach towards meditation is powerful and transformative, and his 'methods' can be practiced any time, everywhere, and that can bring new meaning and joy to every aspect of our daily lives. Ivan's message is that the possibility of the full awakening here and now for everybody, is not just a mere idea, but a divine fact, imbedded in our consciousness, regardless of our background, practice or personal conditions; it is always within us.

Many people have experienced glimpses of their inner truth beyond the mind through the meditation, or by spontaneous moments of inner bliss, or by use of psychedelic drugs, but those moments never appear again, because the egoic mind incorporates them into its own projected structures; they become a distant memory, just another experience.

"When you become aware of the source of the error, where is the error? The source of all errors is in the mind, because the mind is the biggest error, the biggest obstacle to your awakening. Actually, the mind is not the problem, but your attachment to that machine. Meditation is all about understanding the mechanism of the mind, and detaching yourself from it.''

Ivan Rados is a meditation master who was born in former Yugoslavia. At the age of 42 he experienced a profound inner awakening that changed his perception of himself and the reality, after which Ivan was devoted to integrate his knowing into his being, marking the beginning of a movement towards the inner point, which he calls The Middle Point.

Ivan Rados is not associated with any particular spiritual movement, religion or tradition. Ivan's deep and authentic rooting in the unknown provides him the insight and ability to be of great service to the evolution of Consciousness in these most transformative of times. Ivan travels extensively, taking his knowingness throughout the world, facilitating meditation classes, talks, intensives, and retreats. His striking artwork, including the Sacred Geometry Yantras have been exhibited in some of the  greatest European galleries and museums, some of them as part of permanent collections.

"A revolutionary way of understanding consciousness that impacts every corner of our everyday life."

~ Neale Donald Walsch
